Aklimat d.o.o., a prestige aluminum radiator manufacturer, and Helioz Technologies teamed up to implement zipCPQ Configurator to the website.
The process of digitizing Aklimat’s sales process is reflected in an online configurator with a 3D product viewer. Helioz developed rules and logic for the product configurator that allow the selection options to be updated in real time, with the final result being a fully configurated product and a bill of material (BOM).

When the customer configures a product, they send a request for a quote (RFQ). In zipCPQ’s Quote Management module, a PDF document is automatically created with all items and prices. Users have the option to download relevant documents like certificates and catalogs during the configuration process.

The customers start the configuration process with choosing the type of radiator and then move on to choosing all the additional features including the color of the radiator. This solution guides the customer through product selection by only supporting viable configurations.
Under the 3D viewer, users can see how their configuration correlates with the product’s final dimension, weight, and heater capacity.

When the configuration process is over the customer can view and download the BOM and add the product to their cart. To fully request the quote and see the pricing the users need to login.
The Prices module allows Aklimat to add a base price for each product code. Given the complexity of pricing, this can be done by creating price rules, adding price tables, or combining both approaches.

Once the users register, they can view their account options and make the changes they want. Viewing all the requested quotes is also available, providing all the information about their quotes.
